Job Summary: As a Griller, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled foods to meet the highest standards of quality and taste. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operation and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grill Operation: Operate and maintain grill equipment, including gas and charcoal grills, ensuring proper temperature control and cooking times.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and season ingredients for grilling, including marinating meats, cutting vegetables, and assembling grill-ready items.
- Cooking: Grill a variety of items such as steaks, burgers, chicken, fish, and vegetables, ensuring they are cooked to the desired level of doneness and presentation standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet restaurant standards.
- Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including regular cleaning and maintenance of grilling equipment and work areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by tracking supplies, reporting shortages, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a griller or in a similar cooking role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Skills: Ability to operate grilling equipment safely and effectively. Basic knife skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on producing high-quality food and maintaining cleanliness.
